The Tiffin Girls’ School, a selective girls’ grammar school with more than 1,260 students on roll, is consistently one of the most successful state schools in the country. The Tiffin Girls’ School is an Academy, and the Members of the Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a Governor for a four-year term of office, who is in, or has held, a senior position in the public or private sector and has good knowledge and experience of audit and financial management. A CCAB qualification and/or a good understanding of finances in the state education sector would also be a definite advantage. They should be a confident leader and have a strong commitment to selective girls’ education and its role in enhancing social mobility and diversity.

Premises Officer
Grade D (Outer London) (£29,436 – £31,158 pa) | Full-time from June 2026
Working in a dedicated team of four, we are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, reliable, and self-motivated Premises Officer to ensure the security, safety, and maintenance of The Tiffin Girls’ School. You will provide a responsive service to ensure our buildings and grounds are maintained to the highest standards. Ideally, you will have previous experience in a school or maintenance setting. You should be competent in basic trade skills (e.g. plumbing or DIY) and possess a kind, courteous manner when interacting with pupils, staff, and parents. A proactive approach to following safeguarding policies and health and safety regulations (such as COSHH) is essential. Weekend and evening work available
We are looking for Leisure Assistants to work in our Sports Centre in the evenings and at weekends. Occasionally we can offer work during the school holidays as well. This is an ideal position if you live locally to the school, and are aged 18 or over. Rates of pay depend on your age and details of what the role involves can be found in the job description below.
