Fundraising and Donations
Donations are made through Support Tiffin Girls’ School Company (STGSC), an independent registered charity (#1069996) set up in 1998 to improve and expand educational facilities and opportunities at the school so that our students may fully realise their academic and wider education potential.
Ways of Giving
All donations, no matter what size, make a difference. You can support the school financially in one of the following ways:
- Regular donations: help us to plan for the future with confidence. You can set up your monthly donation here
- One-off donations: you can support the school with a one-off donation by clicking the donate button or via the online +Pay facility on ParentMail
- Gift Aid: don’t forget, if you pay tax and are eligible, by signing up to Gift Aid on your direct debit we can reclaim an additional 25p in every £1 from HMRC at no extra cost to you
- Matched Funding: many companies will match the money their employees donate or raise to charity. Please check whether your company offers such a programme or would be willing to set one up.
Your donations are crucial to sustaining the exceptional educational provision at the school and are a vital and valued form of funding. Click here for our Making a Difference leaflet.
Funding from STGSC enables us to provide over 50% more resources to support teaching and learning than would have been possible from government funding alone. STGSC also supports capital projects. In recent years this has included the Sports Centre and the Rivermead building for DT and the Performing Arts, the refurbishment of the main Hall with state of the art audio visual and lighting equipment, the refurbishment of the PE changing rooms and student toilets, and the installation of energy-efficient LED lighting in all classrooms.
2026 Fundraising Appeal – New Boiler Suite and Heating Distribution System
We are delighted to announce the school has finally secured a significant capital grant from the Department for Education (DfE) to replace our boiler suite and the heating distribution system. However, the grant covers only 75% of the £1.84m total cost. The remaining £467,000 (25%) must be found by the school, and every pound spent on infrastructure is a pound diverted from enriching students’ daily experiences in the classroom. Please help us to achieve our minimum target of £50,000 towards this vital project by donating through a linked ParentMail account (parents) or by clicking on the donate button on this page (community). Together, our community can quite literally help keep the heart of the school warm for generations to come.
2025-26 Fundraising Goal – Help Us Resurface Our All-Weather Astro Pitch
We are raising funds to resurface our all-weather astro pitch, which was last renewed in 2012 and is now nearing the end of its usable life. This essential upgrade will provide a high-quality, safe playing surface that benefits all students, as the pitch is used across the school for a wide range of sports and activities and contributes importantly to their health and wellbeing. The astro is also a vital asset to the wider community. It is regularly hired by local hockey and football clubs, providing much-needed facilities for grassroots sport while also generating valuable income that supports the school. In addition to resurfacing the pitch, we also plan to create a new spectator viewing area. This will give parents, carers and visitors a comfortable and welcoming space to watch school matches and events. Please support this important project that will help us deliver a lasting improvement to school life and community sport.
