The Human Connection – The Tiffin Girls’ School Fashion Show
The most fashionable event of the year is back for one night only: Friday 20 March 7.00 – 9.30pm
We are delighted to invite you to the annual TTGS Fashion Show, which will take place from 7.00 – 9.30pm on Friday 20 March. This year’s theme is ‘ The Human Connection’. With the rapid developments of the digital world it would appear that the planet has become smaller. However, many surveys suggest that the increase in digital communication does not mean a decrease in loneliness, it is suggested that real meaningful human connections are being lost.
As an inspiration, we are celebrating different continents, whilst acknowledging the the sensitivity with regards to cultural appropriation – which this is not. We are taking inspiration from different fashion styles from around the world and using this as inspiration to develop new contemporary pieces (influenced by the different continents). It is very much an appreciation and celebration.
This evening is a highlight in the Art department’s calendar and an important platform for the student designers to display their exceptional talent and phenomenal creativity.
Tickets are now available on Classlist – both adults and children are welcome. This event is invariably a sell-out, so don’t delay purchasing to avoid disappointment.
The PSA will also be running a bar with food and drink available through the evening. So come and join us for a memorable evening celebrating the incredible work of our talented students.
