School is proud to contribute to new research report, commissioned by Sky
Featuring contributions from leading voices in sport and advocacy, including Judy Murray, Helen Glover, Nasser Hussain and Baroness Tanni-Grey-Thompson, ‘Game Changing: How sport gives every girl a better chance’ looks at the barriers facing girls participating in sport.
In early September, Sky published a report developed in partnership with research agency, Public First, Game Changing: How sport gives every girl a better chance, which looks at the barriers facing girls participating in sport and reveals the extent of the participation gap between girls and boys. The report includes a series of policy recommendations designed to bring policymakers and the sports industry together to tackle the disparity in girls’ sports participation. The school was very fortunate to be given the opportunity to contribute to this report and support raising awareness about the importance of high quality PE and sport for girls in education. The headline findings and full report can be found online here.
