Fundraising and Donations
The generosity of our parents, alumnae and supporters plays a vital role in helping The Tiffin Girls’ School provide the exceptional opportunities, resources and facilities that enrich our students’ education.
Like all state schools, government funding does not cover everything we want to provide for our students. Donations enable us to go further – enhancing teaching and learning, improving our facilities and creating opportunities for students both inside and outside the classroom.
Donations are made through Support Tiffin Girls’ School Company (STGSC), our independent registered charity (no. 1069996).
Ways to Support Us
Every donation, whatever its size, makes a difference.
- Regular donations: Help us to plan for the future with confidence. Set up your monthly donation here
- One-off donations: Make a one-off gift using the Donate button or through +Pay on ParentMail
- Gift Aid: Add Gift Aid to your donation if you are a UK tax payer. Gift Aid allows us to claim an additional 25p for every £1 you donate, at no extra cost to you
- Matched funding: Many employers will match charitable donations made or funds raised by their employees. Please check whether your employer offers a matched giving scheme.
Funding from STGSC enables us to provide over 50% more resources for teaching and learning than would be possible from government funding alone. It has also helped fund major improvements including our Sports Centre, Rivermead building, Hall, PE changing rooms, student toilets and energy-efficient classroom lighting.
2026-27 Fundraising Goal: A new Astro Pitch
This year, our major fundraising priority is to resurface our all-weather Astro Pitch, which was last renewed in 2012 and is now nearing the end of its usable life.
The project is expected to cost in the region of £300,000 and will provide a high-quality, safe playing surface for PE lessons, training, fixtures and sporting activities across the school. The Astro is also an important community facility, regularly used by local hockey and football clubs. As part of the project, we also hope to create a new spectator viewing area for parents, carers and visitors attending school matches and events. With the support of our school community, we can create an outstanding sporting facility that will benefit Tiffin Girls’ students for many years to come.
