October half term 2025 – Classics trip to Rome
The Classics department led a trip to Rome at the beginning of October half term for 46 students from KS4/5. They took in the famous sights of the Eternal City, including the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Trevi fountain and St. Peter’s Square. They also explored some more tranquil sites beyond the city centre, including Rome’s ancient port town of Ostia, Hadrian’s Villa and the beautiful gardens and fountains of the 16th century Villa D’Este.
