Tiffin Girls’ Music Society
The Tiffin Girls’ Music Society (TGMS) is a registered, parent-led charity (#1090557) that proudly supports the provision of Music as a subject at the school. We work closely with the Music department to provide a top-class musical education and an outstanding range of free co-curricular activities.
Anyone connected with the school – parents, carers, grandparents or friends – can join TGMS. You don’t have to have a child who is musical and you certainly don’t need to know anything about music yourself.
Joining TGMS will make a real difference to the range of musical opportunities that are open to all students at the school, and will also entitle you to discounted concert tickets.
TGMS contributions pay for essentials such as instruments and sheet music, plus coaching for choirs and ensembles. Through successful match-funded bids, we have also helped to transform the school’s music infrastructure which has enhanced students’ musicality and provided new ways to approach the subject. This has positive and far-reaching outcomes for everyone at the school.
The Music department is committed to providing a top-class education to encourage our children’s appreciation of music in all its forms. Students make outstanding progress and benefit from opportunities to work with, and be inspired by, leading musicians, orchestras and choruses, as well as the chance to perform at a national and international level. However, as budgets continue to be stretched, these opportunities become harder to realise. To sustain the provision of these excellent musical opportunities, your support is more crucial than ever before.

There’s a great website called Easyfundraising, where you can donate, at no cost to you, to the Tiffin Girls’ Music Society simply by doing your everyday online shopping with over 3,500 big name retailers like Argos, John Lewis, Tescos, Booking.com, eBay and M&S.
