Cambridge Chemistry Challenge award winners

The challenge was designed to stretch and challenge Year 12 students interested in chemistry, taking them significantly beyond the syllabus and encouraging them to think about science in the way they would at university.

Students in Year 12 recently took part in the annual Cambridge Chemistry Challenge. We are delighted to share that as well as 18 copper, 12 silver and 4 gold awards, one of our students, Erin, achieved an outstanding Roentgenium award and has been invited to a residential camp at Cambridge University in the summer. This is the first award of this type for a Tiffin student and means she scored in the top 0.59% of entrants to the challenge. Erin has done amazingly well and we are very proud of her achievements.
