GCSE Options

In Years 10 and 11 students follow GCSE courses including a mix of core and options subjects. The core curriculum includes English Language, English Literature, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and one foreign language (French or Spanish). Students can then choose up to four option subjects to complete their KS4 curriculum from Art, Computer Science, Drama, DT Graphics, DT Resistant Materials, French, Geography, History, Latin, Maths, Music, RS and Spanish. Students also take core PE lessons and have one period a week for PSHE and Citizenship. These are non-examined aspects of the curriculum.

A Level Options

In the Sixth Form, students study A Level courses, starting in Year 12 with four subjects and usually continuing with three through to Year 13. Students can choose from Art, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, DT Product Design, Economics, English Literature, French, Geography, History, Latin, Maths, Music, Physics, Psychology, RS, Spanish and Theatre Studies.
