The PSA's aim is to raise money to improve facilities, support refurbishment projects and buy extra resources and equipment so that our daughters get the very best from their Tiffin Girls' experience. To do this, we run a set of regular activities and events throughout the school year including a Quiz Night, Christmas Fair, School Birthday Celebration (having featured a Ceilidh, a Bingo Night and a Murder Mystery) and the Fashion Show.
The funds raised at these events in recent years have paid for new toilets, a three year lease on a minibus, new equipment for the Design & Technology department, the refurbishment of the foyer and new outdoor benches and picnic rugs. A £25,000 donation has funded the construction of a sheltered 'Outdoor Quad' external seating area where girls can relax and socialise, and a further £10,000 has funded lighting and sound equipment in the new Rivermead Drama Studio.
All parents are automatically members of the PSA while they have a daughter at the school. It can only exist and thrive if parents actively support it, by Committee membership, by volunteering to support its work and by attending its events. To be kept informed of the PSA's activities and to be able to take part in the PSA events, all parents should sign-up to Classlist at www.classlist.com. Classlist is the main PSA's communication channel with parents.
As a Registered Charity, (No. 285731), the PSA holds an AGM every September to which all parents are invited. In addition, any parent may also attend the Committee meetings which are held every half-term to observe and contribute from the floor.
We are always looking for volunteers and class representatives for the PSA: if you would like to join in the fun, please contact the PSA at
