Message for Parents
As you may be aware, every year we make Christmas cards, buy presents, and have a party (this year, virtually) for care homes in the local area. In addition to our support for local care homes, this year we have decided that we would like to support a local charity which will be helping people over the Christmas period.
Between Monday 7 and Friday 11 December we are collecting for KCAH - Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness. Winter is a particularly difficult time for many people, and this has been exacerbated this year by the pandemic. KCAH is aiming to create Christmas Hampers to help those in need, and as part of these, the items they have asked for are:
Yes:
Nice Teas
Books
Board games
Nice toiletries
Dishwasher tablets
Washing machine capsules
Fabric softener
Biscuits
Chocolates
Stick Diffusers
Hamper Baskets
Blankets
Storage Tins – for kitchen shelves
No:
Candles
Alcohol
Electronics
Students will be able to leave donations on tables in the foyer.
We really appreciate your donations, and really hope that you and your families will be able to help those in need in our local community to have an enjoyable Christmas.
Thank you for your support, and we hope you all have a lovely holiday period.
